The challenge

IUK is the UK’s innovation agency, supporting companies to grow through their development and commercialisation of new products, products and services.

We were approached to showcase the success of their sustainability programmes and highlight their partnership with Make UK with video case studies and podcast production.

The solution

To strengthen their brand narrative, we support the creation of a suite of content, including video and podcast.

IUK’s REforMM and SusBioMM programmes are making the UK a leader in resource efficiency and sustainable, scalable processes. A cohort of businesses have participated in several ‘Sprints’ to discuss barriers, challenges, and opportunities. 

We were approached to help showcase the success of these programmes through video case study content. We delivered two on-site shoots with programme participants, using our strategic and creative expertise to tell the story of their complex innovation journeys and how IUK supported them.

We refreshed and produced Series 2 of its Industrial Energy Transformation Fund (IETF) podcast, in collaboration with the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, which aims to share how IETF programme participants have reduced their carbon emissions. 

Innovate UK held an event to launch their partnership with Make UK and drive private investment. They required compelling event coverage, including photography and interview-based video – to showcase the partnership.

We captured on-site content, including interviews with senior leaders, b-roll, and photography. Informed by the aims of IUK and knowledge of their audiences, we took a story-led approach to the interviews, drawing out key benefits of the partnership. We also captured general footage of the event, for multiple uses.
